From Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico, I am a lover, a listener, and an ever-curious student of the sacred arts.
Ever since I listened to the recordings that my dad played for me in our house, I’ve been devoted to the congregation of records, the church of the divine craft, and the search of unexplored territories of our expression.
I graduated from engineering college on May 17th, 2016, then left my beloved Mexico City to harvest the secret ingredients of some of my favorite records which landed me on the strange paradise of Sonic Ranch, where I learned the ropes of Analog Recording, Production, Vibe Management, and most importantly, the magic in creating.
After many adventures with Tony Rancich and Co., I understood that there was no need to pick a lane on only one craft since every art is pretty similar in the process. Ever since, I’ve been chasing many different areas, including music, poetry, photo, film and even painting after a long day, with the intention of conjuring some of my deepest intentions.
After finishing my first record with Oh Sees alongside my mentor and friend JPD, I ended up in the mystical land of Los Angeles. After a couple of months, I found an art piece that was in LACMA, Museo Tamayo, and many other museums. It is a Cube made of mirrors, built somewhere around 2008 by Los Jaichackers, then found in the Free section of Craiglist by my friends that were looking for a couch, and after four years of a lot of work, and the help of my friend Matt Jones and many others, it is now my recording studio and temple for the steps coming in the next chapter.
You know where to find me, nerding out inside of my Cube in Pasadena, CA.
